People are my primary passion in painting. I keep turning to publicly available photos of celebrities for references. They let me develop my skills and give a great test for likeness. If I’ve done my job right, everyone should recognize these. Or at least anyone with similar odd predilections as I have.
By and large, these paintings are made from publicly available reference, without permission. I believe they qualify as Fair Use, but if you are (or represent) someone in this gallery and would like them removed, just let me know. I paint people because I admire them, and don’t want to upset any of them.
